David Eby, QC, is the MLA for Vancouver-Point Grey and was first elected in 2013. In his time as Attorney General, David has led multiple priority government initiatives, including: the establishment of a provincial public inquiry into money laundering (the Cullen Commission); a provincial ban on union and corporate political donations; award-winning reforms to protect British Columbians’ free expression from silencing strategic lawsuits against public participation (SLAPP); laws enabling a national class action against opioid producers and manufacturers for their alleged role in the overdose crisis; B.C.’s first government whistleblower protection system; and overhauling B.C.’s public auto insurance system. Vikki Reynolds (PhD RCC) works to bridge the worlds of social justice activism with community work and therapy. Vikki is a white settler on the territories of the Squamish, Tsleil-Waututh and Musqueam nations. Vikki's people are Irish, Newfoundland and English folks, and she is a heterosexual woman with cisgender privilege. Her experience includes supervision and therapy with peers and other workers responding to the opioid catastrophe, refugees and survivors of torture – including Indigenous people who have survived residential schools and other state violence – sexualized violence counsellors, mental health and substance misuse counsellors, housing and shelter workers, activists and working alongside gender and sexually diverse communities. Ǧṇísḷaǧy̓ ḷís, Gary Wilson, a proud member of the Háiɫzaqv First Nation, is the General Manager for the Coastal First Nation – Great Bear Initiative Society. With a strong connection to the BC coast and coming from a strong lineage of well-known and respected fishers, naturally Gary started working in the commercial fishing industry from the age of 13 – and considers himself to be a Fisher on sabbatical. Gary previously worked as CEO for the Huu-ay-aht Development Corporation, General Manager for the Heiltsuk Economic Development Corporation and a variety of roles with CIBC for 14 years.
