Join us at the 2019 Vancouver Island RENT-CHRA Congress event on April 3rd for a special day of education sessions for all members of your organization, from executive leaders and board members to frontline staff and asset management teams. The event also offers the same expansive tradeshow and networking opportunities that help your staff grow their professional skills but with an opportunity to connect with hundreds of more delegates from across British Columbia and Canada.
Limited subsides available for BCNPHA member societies operating non-profit housing on Vancouver Island that will be attending on April 3rd of the joint event. Please note subsidies will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
BCNPHA has partnered with the Canadian Housing and Renewal Association (CHRA), which is hosting its 51st annual National Congress on Housing and Homelessness in Victoria from April 2 to 4. The joint RENT-Congress event takes place at the Victoria Convention Centre. We are thrilled to provide this exciting opportunity to our members to learn from and connect with other non-profit housing professionals from across the country!
How does it work?
The RENT will function similar to previous events, just on a larger scale! Sessions on leadership, funding opportunities, handling tenancy issues and more will be familiar to previous RENT delegates; you’ll also see some familiar faces among our sponsors and tradeshow exhibitors. There will be many new faces as well among the cross-Canada delegates attending the CHRA Congress – connect with them during networking breaks, the plenaries and President’s Reception at Government House - Lieutenant Governor’s Residence ($65/ticket) to grow your professional circle!
